Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB
Provide in-depth analytical support and insight to aid in development, support and evaluation of marketing initiatives within the Bank. Utilize various analytical tools to make recommendations to business partners on the design of marketing initiatives and foster a test & learn environment that leads to timely and accurate learnings to generate optimal business results. The Marketing Analytics Consultant will partner with business partners and peers to understand their needs and ensure insights are put into action to realize potential opportunity. Prioritize multiple projects in order to reach long/short-term goals. Effectively communicate research findings both orally and in written format, ensuring such insights and outcomes are embedded into future business decisions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Design performance measures; develop unbiased treatment: control groups during campaign design, recommendations on test & learn opportunities and insightful/actionable back-end analysis.
  • Utilizes various analytical tools to achieve optimal business results
  • Based on analytical insights, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing spend.
  • Integrate external consumer, market and competitive data into analyses.
  • Design metrics and administer complex analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of decisions. Provide querying and programming expertise necessary to extract information for data analysis.
  • Conduct complex analysis on a variety of data and research. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and concisely for management. Use data sources and skills to research.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant and applicable internal and external rules, regulations and policies that govern this position. Operate in a manner that is in strict alignment to Key Bank’s Code of Ethics policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Statistics, Probability, Mathematical modeling or related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of analytical experience in consulting, business or related field
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and data mining concepts and approaches.
  • Experience in experimental design and applying statistical analysis to solve real world problems. Ability to deal with complex statistical data analysis
  • Extensive database querying and programming experience (SAS SQL)
  • Proven ability to interpret results of the analyses
  • Results oriented, self-starter with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Proven proficiency in MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, proven ability to convey the results of complex analyses in a clear and concise manner using business language.
